Frequently asked

FAQ

Everything about ordering custom hotel key cards — and if your question isn’t here, just call or text us.

Ordering

What’s the minimum order?
Our minimum is 500 key cards for standard full-color printed or foil-stamped styles. Smaller sample runs can be quoted case by case.
Is there a maximum order size?
No. We regularly produce runs into the tens of thousands for franchise-wide and multi-property card rollouts.
Can I order a sample before a bulk run?
Yes. We can produce a pre-production proof so you can approve the physical card before we run the full order — ask us for terms when you request your quote.
Can I mix key card styles in one order?
Yes. You can combine styles — say an RFID card for general inventory and a foil-stamped card for suites — and the combined volume counts toward your price tier.
Can I reorder later and match my last batch?
Yes. We keep your artwork, card colors, and encoding specs on file, so reorders match your previous run exactly and move faster.

Design & Artwork

Do you charge for mockups?
No. Mockups are free with unlimited revisions until you approve. You only pay once the design is signed off and production begins.
What artwork files do you need?
Vector files (AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF) are ideal. If you only have a photo or a PNG, our designers will recreate your logo print-ready at no charge.
I don’t have a logo — can you help?
Yes. Send a reference — a photo, a sketch, or even a description — and our designers will build print-ready artwork for you.
Can you match my brand (Pantone) colors?
Yes. We offer custom Pantone matching on both card color and print so your key cards match your brand exactly.
Can you individually personalize each card?
Yes. Send a spreadsheet of room numbers, suite names, or guest names and we can personalize individual cards for VIP arrivals or suite programs.
How many revisions do I get?
Unlimited, and always free, until you approve the mockup.

Production & Shipping

How long does production take?
About about 2 weeks from approved mockup for standard styles; metal-accent and eco wood-composite runs sit toward the higher end of that window.
Do you offer rush production?
Yes. Rush is available for a property opening or a firm renovation deadline — tell us your in-hands date and we’ll confirm what’s possible.
Where do you ship?
Nationwide across the U.S., and internationally on request. See our Shipping Policy for details.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is quoted with your order based on quantity and destination. Cards ship compactly, so bulk orders are economical to ship.
Can you ship to multiple addresses?
Yes. Provide a distribution list with your order and we’ll split the shipment across properties — common for hotel groups and franchises.
What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?
We make it right. If an order arrives defective or does not match your approved mockup, we remake or replace the affected cards.

Pricing & Payment

How much do hotel key cards cost?
Bulk pricing is by quote; typical ranges run from about per unit depending on style, material, and encoding, improving as the run grows. Each product page shows its range.
Why don’t you list exact prices?
Price depends on quantity, card style, material, decoration, and encoding. A quote is the only accurate number — and we return one within a business day.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards, ACH bank transfer, and purchase orders for established hotel groups and franchises.
Do you offer a price-match or lowest-price guarantee?
Yes. If you have a comparable written quote, we’ll match or beat it — that’s our lowest-price guarantee.

Product & Care

What colors and finishes are available?
Matte White, Glossy White, Matte Black, Brushed Gold, Brushed Silver, and Full-Color Custom Print, with custom Pantone matching on request.
What encoding options do you support?
RFID/proximity encoding compatible with major lock platforms, and traditional HiCo magstripe encoding for legacy and hybrid lock systems.
What are the cards made of?
RFID-composite PVC, eco wood-composite, or metal-accent PVC depending on the style — durable enough for a full guest stay without cracking or peeling.
How durable is the printing or foil stamping?
Every card is sealed with a protective overlaminate, so full-color print and foil stamping resist the fading and flaking that daily card-reader swiping causes on lower-quality cards.
How should we store unissued cards?
Keep cards flat, away from direct sunlight and extreme heat, and away from strong magnets if you’re using magstripe encoding. Properly stored, they hold their encoding and finish indefinitely until issued.
